Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) and the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), saw Hopewell's basketball squad overcome Cox Mill by a tally of 85-72.

With the victory, Hopewell improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Titans host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. East Mecklenburg won 65-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Berry (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Chargers confront the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 19. Cox Mill will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 68-41 non-league win over Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA).
