In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), by a margin of 61-58.

The Chargers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the 4A Conference 57 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Hickory Ridge held off Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 58-50, in a non-league outing.

The Huskies now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host North Mecklenburg for a 3A/4A Conference 60 outing on Friday, December 9. Hough will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 71-27 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.
