Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trent Gorillas (Trent, TX), 48-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Sands lost 55-30 in their recent non-league bout against All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX)

Next up, the Gorillas play the Rotan Yellowhammers (Rotan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Trent will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Yellowhammers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 32-30 non-league win over Ira (Ira, TX).
