Texas High School Basketball - Valley thwarts Ira
November 19, 2022: Turkey, TX 79261 The Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Ira Bulldogs (Ira, TX), 48-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Sands went down by All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX), 55-30, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Spur for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 29. Ira will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 39-26 non-league loss to Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
