The Fort Bend Kempner Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Iowa Colony Pioneers to 14 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29.

The Pioneers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Yates (Houston, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Yates triumphed over Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
