Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX), 73-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Fulshear upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Chargers host Foster (Richmond, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 5A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 20-8. Foster won 72-19 in their recent league bout against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, January 13. Fort Bend Kempner will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-19 record after their 36-27 league loss to Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX).
