Louisiana High School Basketball - Jena crushes Grant
November 18, 2022: Dry Prong, LA 71423 Jena Giants (Jena, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 40-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jena upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Giants host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Delta Charter lost 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 65-35 non-league win over Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA).
