DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN), 62-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DeKalb upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Barons host Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Fort Wayne Northrop won 70-43 in their recent league bout against Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN) in a Northeast Corner bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Central Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 55-41 league loss to Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN).
