Illinois High School Basketball - Tremont knocked off by Wethersfield
November 18, 2023: Tremont, IL 61568 The Wethersfield Flying Geese basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Tremont Turks to 28 in the Flying Geese non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Flying Geese now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22.
The Turks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Brimfield ran past Princeville (Princeville, IL), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
