In Tuesday's non-league test, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a score of 61-45.

Next, the Bearcats encounter the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 21. Anson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 78-58 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

With the loss, Montgomery Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
