Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 57-18 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mountain Island Charter advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Raptors travel to North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, November 20. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-3. North Hills Christian lost 57-24 in their recent non-league contest against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy (Mooresville, NC)

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 21. East Gaston will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
