The Purdue Polytechnic Techies bounced the visiting Herron Achaeans basketball team by a tally of 80-14 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Techies now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, November 20. Purdue Polytechnic will play a Eagles team coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

The Achaeans (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial trounced Purdue Broad Ripple (Indianapolis, IN), 67-32, in a non-league battle.
