North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech sneaks past Piedmont Community Charter

The Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) basketball tipped the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 55-50 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Pinnacle Classical Academy tipped Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC), 38-29, in a league battle.

The Patriots now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, November 21. Piedmont Community Charter will encounter a Knights team coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
