Mississippi High School Basketball - West Point bests Shannon

The West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) basketball toppled the visiting Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS), 59-49 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Green Wave now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tishomingo County for a non-league test on Saturday, November 22. West Point will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 80-41 non-league win over Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Braves record now stands at 3-1.

The Red Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their test against West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, West Union went down by East Union (Blue Springs, MS), 62-21, in a non-league test.
