Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA), 41-29 in a non-league contest.

The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) in a contest, on Thursday, December 11. Southampton Academy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
