With the victory, Langston Hughes advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers host Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a battle on Thursday, November 20. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Cobb for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 21.
