November 19, 2021: Genoa, IL 60135 The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 21 in the Cogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Cogs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 20. Genoa-Kingston will battle a Dukes & Duchesses team coming off a 41-14 non-league win over Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 2-0.
The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Pecatonica was routed by Dixon (Dixon, IL), 41-14, in a non-league contest.
