November 19, 2022: Gainesville, GA 30501 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) and the host Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), saw Clarke Central's basketball squad hold off Gainesville by a tally of 80-79.
With the victory, Clarke Central improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Alcovy (Covington, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Alcovy lost 57-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA)
Next up, the Red Elephants confront the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 21. Gainesville will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 58-48 non-league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).
