Alaska High School Ice Hockey - Soldotna drops to Chugiak
November 19, 2022: Soldotna, AK 99669 Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) fans left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK), 5-1 in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their match against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines enter the Cook Inlet match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, South Anchorage held off Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 16-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Stars encounter the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a Railbelt match, on Friday, December 2. Soldotna will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 9-2 league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
