Mississippi High School Basketball - River Oaks bests Cathedral
November 19, 2024: Natchez, MS 39120 The River Oaks Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Cathedral Green Wave to 39 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Aloysius for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. River Oaks will confront a Flashes team coming off a 67-26 non-league win over Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS). The Flashes record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Cathedral falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 1-6. Park Place Christian Academy lost 49-30 in their recent non-league game against Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS)
