The Oakwood Academy Mustangs basketball squad (Huntsville, AL), was nudged 58-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL)

With the victory, Skyline advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings host Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, November 22. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 5-1. Kate Duncan Smith DAR won 56-53 in their recent non-league battle against Randolph School (Huntsville, AL)

The Mustangs now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodville for a 1A Area 16 battle on Thursday, November 21. Oakwood Academy will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 68-37 non-league win over Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
