Florida High School Basketball - New Smyrna Beach overwhelms Mainland

November 19, 2024: Daytona Beach, FL 32114

The New Smyrna Beach Barracudas basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Mainland Buccaneers to 25 in the Barracudas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Barracudas now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host North Florida Educational Institute for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 20.

With the loss, Mainland falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Hagerty (Oviedo, FL) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Monday, December 2. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 0-1. Hagerty lost 59-39 in their recent non-league game against Edgewater (Orlando, FL)
