Tennessee High School Basketball - Rhea County holds off Notre Dame
November 19, 2024: Evensville, TN 37332 The Rhea County Golden Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 49 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Concord Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. Rhea County will confront a Lions team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Midway (Kingston, TN). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host Warren County (McMinnville, TN) to confront the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Warren County won 61-28 in their recent non-league game against Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN)
