Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX), 42-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Vandegrift upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Vipers travel to College Station (College Station, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-1. College Station won 65-31 in their recent non-league match against West Fork (Kingwood, TX)

The Dragons now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a non-league match on Friday, November 22. Round Rock will face a Eagles squad coming off a 65-31 non-league loss to La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
