In Monday's non-league outing, the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) basketball squad edged the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), by a margin of 72-67.

The Mavericks (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Iowa Colony was tipped by Spring (Spring, TX), 69-63, in a non-league outing.
