Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) and the host Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Pasadena Memorial's basketball squad hold off Nimitz by a tally of 58-55.

With the victory, Pasadena Memorial improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Bridgeland lost 78-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Paetow (Katy, TX)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Nimitz will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 79-59 non-league loss to West Brook (Beaumont, TX).
