Mississippi High School Basketball - Myrtle fells Kirk Academy
November 20, 2023: Myrtle, MS 38650 Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kirk Academy Raiders (Grenada, MS), 48-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Myrtle upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Hawks host Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Raiders play the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Kirk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 64-60 non-league win over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).
