Mississippi High School Basketball - Marshall Academy succumbs to Kirk Academy
January 23, 2024: Grenada, MS 38901 The Kirk Academy Raiders topped the visiting Marshall Academy Patriots basketball team by a final score of 60-44 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Raiders face the North Delta Green Wave (Batesville, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 1 game, on Thursday, January 25. Kirk Academy will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Green Wave enter the game with a 9-9 record after their 60-57 league loss to Marshall Academy (Holly Springs, MS).
With the defeat, Marshall Academy moves to 3-3 on the year.
