Texas High School Basketball - Wylie tops Lake Highlands
November 20, 2023: Dallas, TX 75238 Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 48-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wylie upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Pearce (Richardson, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Pearce won 64-48 in their recent non-league bout against New Caney (New Caney, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Lake Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX).
