November 20, 2023: Youngsville, LA Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) and the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), saw Southside's basketball squad wallop Port Allen by a tally of 84-36.
With the victory, Southside improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 21. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Thibodaux lost 53-52 in their recent non-league challenge against A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA)
Next up, the Pelicans confront the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 21. Port Allen will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 50-33 non-league loss to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
