December 27, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70615 The Southside Sharks basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians to 52 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Sharks now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Southside will meet a Hornets team coming off a 76-48 non-league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-2.
Next up, the Charging Indians play the Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Washington-Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 76-48 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, LA).
