November 20, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70508 The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) basketball felled the visiting Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA), 32-24 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Barbe thwarted Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA), 65-22, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Houston for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 21. Cedar Creek will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-2.
