The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Central Academy Cougars to 8 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, November 23. Union Academy will play a Knights team coming off a 42-31 non-league loss to Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Central Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, November 22.
