The Columbia Eagles basketball squad (Huntsville, AL), was crushed 69-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL)

With the victory, Grissom advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Paideia (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Pythons in a non-league contest on Monday, November 24. The Pythons go into the contest with a record of 1-3. Paideia won 64-61 in their recent non-league contest against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA)

The Eagles now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee for a 6A Area 16 match on Monday, November 24. Columbia will face a Generals squad coming off a 98-23 non-league loss to Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Generals record now stands at 3-1.
