In Thursday's non-league contest, the host St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 70-68 triumph over the Faith Christian Knights.

The Cavaliers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Calhoun Academy was nudged by Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC), 43-40, in a non-league match.

The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross for a non-league match on Friday, November 21.
