Texas High School Basketball - Huckabay knocks off Bowie
November 20, 2025: Stephenville, TX 76401 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX) and the visiting Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX), observed Huckabay's basketball team overcome Bowie by a score of 49-30.
The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hico (Hico, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Hico lost by San Saba (San Saba, TX), 68-66, in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanier for a non-league battle on Friday, November 21. Bowie will battle a Voks team coming off a 49-20 non-league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Voks record now stands at 1-6.
