Texas High School Basketball - Sanger can't hold off Gunter
November 21, 2022: Sanger, TX 76266 The Gunter Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Sanger Indians to 57 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pilot Point for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Gunter will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Callisburg was nudged by Red River Christian HomeSchool (Gainesville, TX), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
