Texas High School Basketball - Sanger nips Pilot Point
December 28, 2022: Pilot Point, TX 76258 Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), 58-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sanger upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Collinsville (Collinsville, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Collinsville won 74-59 in their recent league bout against Chico (Chico, TX)
Next up, the Bearcats play the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Pilot Point will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 78-22 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX).
