November 21, 2023: Manlius, IL 61338 The Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) basketball nipped the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 51-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Braves (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Elmwood (Elmwood, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Elmwood got by Stark County (Toulon, IL), 41-39, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam County for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 22. Bureau Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 73-31 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
