California High School Basketball - Fountain Valley nips Cypress
November 21, 2023: Cypress, CA 90630 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) and the host Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA), saw Fountain Valley's basketball squad hold off Cypress by a count of 70-66.
With the victory, Fountain Valley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Barons travel to South Gate (South Gate, CA) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. South Gate lost 73-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Cypress (Cypress, CA)
Next up, the Centurions play the Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 24. Cypress will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA).
