La Feria Lions (La Feria, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX), 62-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Feria upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions host Santa Maria (Santa Maria, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Tigers play the Vanguard Academy Beethoven (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 24. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
