December 9, 2023: Pharr, TX 78577 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) and the visiting Raymondville Bearkats (Raymondville, TX), saw Valley View's basketball squad wallop Raymondville by a tally of 73-49.
With the victory, Valley View improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX) to confront the Javelinas in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Javelinas come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest won 45-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Porter (Brownsville, TX)
Next up, the Bearkats confront the San Isidro Tigers (San Isidro, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Raymondville will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Danbury (Danbury, TX).
