Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) and the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), saw Porter Ridge's basketball squad wallop Union Academy by a tally of 84-54.

With the victory, Porter Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 24. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Union Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
