In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Mililani Trojans basketball team scored a close 67-60 triumph over the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls.

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Punahou (Honolulu, HI). The Buff n' Blue go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Punahou nipped King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI), 78-49, in a non-league contest.
