Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the visiting Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS), 85-21 in a non-league contest.

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, South Panola was trounced by DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS), 68-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Strayhorn will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
