In Friday's non-league contest, the host Newsome Wolves basketball team scored a big 74-39 triumph over the Riverview Sharks.

The Wolves (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Spoto (Riverview, FL). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Spoto overwhelmed Morgan (Wimauma, FL), 71-62, in a league match.

The Sharks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plant City for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2.
