November 21, 2025: Blairsville, GA 30512 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) and the host Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), witnessed Towns County's basketball squad hold off Union County by a count of 61-59.
With the victory, Towns County advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 4-0. Lumpkin County won 54-47 in their recent non-league contest against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA)
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Union County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 81-64 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA).
