November 21, 2025: Martinsville, TX 75958 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX) and the host Martinsville Pirates (Martinsville, TX), observed Chireno's basketball team overwhelm Martinsville by a margin of 74-21.
The Owls (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Flyers enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, LaPoynor was crushed by Kaufman (Kaufman, TX), 61-42, in a non-league battle.
