The East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) basketball edged the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 52-50 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Polk County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. East Henderson will play a Wolverines team coming off a 80-16 non-league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, R-S Central falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Owen (Black Mountain, NC) to encounter the Warhorses in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 25. The Warhorses come into the test with a record of 0-3. Owen lost 59-29 in their recent non-league test against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC)
