The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL), 71-35 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Zephyrhills for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 3.

The Buccaneers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Sharks come into the 4A District 9 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Anclote was routed by River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL), 78-10, in a non-league test.
